2014 Compact

Reporting Principles Through the “2014 Compact – Fraport. Finance. Sustainability” report, we inform our stakeholders and the interested public of the economic development of the Fraport Group as well as its goals, activities, and advancements in the area of sustainability in a compressed form. We publish further information in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative standard (GRI) in a separate report in version G 3.1, including the additional industry-specific indicators for airport operators, on our home page at www.fraport.de/sustainability. The GRI report meets the requirements for “Application Level A+” and therefore fulfills the application level of the guidelines. The content of the report is chosen on the basis of regular exchange with our stakeholder groups and a comprehensive materiality analysis. In this respect, we have defined the major areas of activity for Fraport and have positioned them in a Materiality Matrix according to their significance for the stakeholders and the company. As part of the sustainability program, Fraport has set targets for all areas of activity and defined measures to achieve these goals. Fraport observes and supports the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, develops and implements measures for their implemen- tation and contributes to their recognition, including beyond the boundaries of its own company. Together with the GRI report, this publication also serves as a progress report with regard to the implementation of the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in corporate management.
