AIRail Service
A special premium service for passengers who take ICE trains to FRA from the Stuttgart, Cologne central stations via Siegburg/ Bonn, Düsseldorf, Kassel, or Karlsruhe:
– A joint venture of Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa, and Fraport
– The AIRail Service allows air travelers to check in at the
Cologne or Stuttgart central station (until 15 minutes
before the train’s departure).
– Travelers also receive their airline boarding passes for their
FRA flight.
– Baggage claims (with customs checks for arriving bag-
gage) are located in the AIRail Terminal at FRA’s long-
distance train station.
– Tickets can be obtained from Lufthansa and all travel
agencies representing it.
– First and business class travelers can use the DB Lounges
at the Cologne and Stuttgart central stations and FRA’s
long-distance train station.
– 1st and 2nd class seat reservations can be made in ICE
trains.
AIRail Service between FRA and Stuttgart (ZWS) central station:
– Travel time: 73 minutes
– Frequency: once an hour
AIRail Service between FRA and Cologne (QKL) central station:
– Travel time: 55 minutes
– Frequency: once an hour
AiRail Service to and from Siegburg/Bonn – Travel time: 39 minutes
– Frequency: every 2 hours
AiRail Service to and from Düsseldorf – Travel time: 72 minutes
– Frequency: once an hour
AiRail Service to and from Karlsruhe – Travel time: 66 minutes
– Frequency: every 3 hours
